Site Description and Birding Information: This newer upscale subdivision is situated in a forested area and has kept enough of the trees to provide some interesting birding possibilities. The excellent variety of forested habitat here makes this site particularly attractive. Feeding stations along this loop should provide extra interest in winter.
For a good taste of this site, drive, or better yet, walk the 1.8 km loop (highlighted on the map) formed by Shylo Crescent and Squires Drive. For more habitat variety, check the second growth deciduous along Rideau Forest Drive on the way in and out.
