Map of the Goodstown Road Area
Site Description and Birding Information: After driving the good gravel road past agricultural land to its end, you will see the "Unmaintained Roadway - Use at Own Risk" sign. Beyond here there is a trail leading farther southwest. If you went in a straight line along this track, you would come out on the other side of the Richmond Fen at the northeastern end of Kettles Road. (See the Richmond Fen via Kettles Road site.) This track, used occasionally by 4-wheelers, should allow good penitration into the fen, but may be very wet.
