Site Description and Birding Information: This is another spot from which to view the floodplain of Bear Brook. Lack of elevation and likely walk of a few hundred metres make it a less attractive initial venue for observation than either the Bear Brook at Milton Road or the Bear Brook at Frank Kenny Road sites. However, it does look out over the area seen in the distance from the former of those two sites, and may provide closer viewing of birds sheltering well away from the main roads. And the rest of the area is private property.

Both Perrault and the south end of Trim are good for sparrows, with Vesper Sparrow breeding along Perrault and migrants congregating along the end of Trim. A farm at the corner of Trim and Perrault Roads hosted a Cattle Egret on Oct. 21, 2007.
This is also the eighth site on the Mer Bleue - French Hill Loop.
Spring Flooding Route Route Directions: From the south end of Trim Road, return NNW the c. 0.5 km to Perrault Road. Continue straight on Trim for an additional 0.3 km to McFadden Road. Turn right or ENE on McFadden and drive 1.4 km to Frank Kenny Road. Turn right or SSE on it. Proceed 0.5 km to the next site on this loop, Bear Brook at Frank Kenny Road.
