Site Description and Birding Information: The lovely park is next door to a scout or guide site and consequently there are lots of trails through the woods between the Sixth Line and the Ottawa River. A good variety of habitats exists, including some larger pines. Black-backed Woodpecker has been seen here. A Northern Hawk-Owl stopped here briefly on Feb. 12, 2005. A Red-bellied Woodpecker spent some time near here from late November in the winter of 2010-11.
