Site Description and Birding Information: Fields of corn stubble attract geese and ducks in spring, as well as flocks of blackbirds. A Yellow-headed Blackbird was found here in early May 1990. Upland Sandpiper sometimes stop here on migration. At the far end of Herzberg Road (you have to turn right off the main road where it bends left to become Terry Fox Drive), is some scrubby habitat adjacent a feeding station that produces sparrows, finches and Mourning Doves all winter. This road is now cut off at the railway tracks and access to the eastern section of what was 4th Line Road and Sandhill Road is via the left hand turn onto Terry Fox Drive.
