Casa Grande Ruins National Monument - Pinal County

         While not primarily a birding site, it provides public access to this protected area. Great Horned Owls nest under the protective roof sheltering the largest ruin. Vegetation around the visitor's center and picnic area provide shelter and nest sites for several species, including Gambel's Quail, Gilded Flicker, Verdin and American Kestrel.
